Not going to lie, this is one of my favorite places at the Atlanta airport. Being able to sit and listen to the piano while looking out the window at the planes is great, and when I have time in concourse A I usually stop in. Service is friendly, and fast, as is necessary in an airport with everyone rushing to their flight.
The spinach salad is a favorite of mine. It's a generous portion and much larger than you would expect for the price in an airport. The dressing is really good, and the cheese is wonderful.
The pizza is where my heart is though. It's about as much food as you can get at a sit down restaurant in an airport for around $10. Sometimes it's a bit soggy in the center of the pie, and requires a knife and fork. If this pizza were in my neighborhood back home I might rate it three stars, but as quick as it it comes out and it being at an airport, it gets five stars in context. -

For an airport- this place is really, really good! If you have a layover in ATL- head straight here for delicious pizza and a cool bar atmosphere.
Daniel and I had an hour or two to kill on the way to Fort Lauderdale and we wanted to grab early lunch. I spotted this cool bar just down from our gate so we sat down to get mimosas. Then we saw this delicious looking pizza coming out and knew we wanted some too! The crust is thin- which I love! It wasn't greasy at all and had good flavor. The toppings were fresh and they make their own sausage- spicy without being over powering. Yum!
The service was excellent and if the prices were a little better- this might be a 5 star airport spot. -

Varasano's is the real deal!! The pies (pizzas) are spectacular. The ingredients are fresh and accurate!
The pie crust has great body and flavor. A hint of smokiness/burning from cooking, which is not overpowering, but present in the best sense.
The meats are unbelievable...fresh, accurate profiles and perfectly incorporated.
Overall, the pies have depth of flavor, accurate profiles, excellent construction and presentation.
The staff is attentive and friendly.
Highly recommend Varasano's!!! -

There was no wait (surprising for the airport) and the cashier took my order promptly. I ordered the veggie pizza and added pepperoni and sausage. I asked and was told it would take 10-12 minutes and it was a little less than 10 when my number was buzzed. The pizza was piping hot and it was flavorful. I like that it was a thin crust so you can taste the ingredients. The broccolini and eggplant are unique toppings to have.

Ate here before my flight out of ATL domestic terminal. I've been craving some authentic, scratch made, thin crust pizza for awhile now and let me tell you.....this hit the spot!!!
Ordered to-go and was out and ready within 10 mins and tasted SO GOOD! You can literally watch them make it from scratch. So tasty and SO unexpected for airport pizza!
